大赛背景Background

当科技风潮融合了绿色环保和功能性的概念,羊毛针织设计也焕发出新的活力。区别于传统针织,大赛强调羊毛纤维在针织设计中的创新,在设计中融入新的理念,发挥无限创意并落实到作品中,予以新澳流行趋势主题新的诠释。年轻人为年轻人设计,让创意发声,为年轻造势。新澳携手先锋设计师与天猫头部服装品牌,发掘年轻原创力量,让年轻设计直接经受销量检验,做有价值的针织设计。


While trending technology is integrating environmentally friendly and functional concepts, the wool is also rejuvenating in the field of knitting design. Different from traditional knitting, the competition focuses on the innovation of the wool fibers in knitting design while incorporating the new ideas and exerting unlimited creativity, therefore to present a new interpretation of Xinao's latest trending themes. The youngs create for the youngs, speaking their languages and sculpting their future. Xinao cooperates with pioneer designers and T'mall's leading brands to explore the originality of youngers, tested them by the sales from the actual market, therefore creating valued knitwear designs。

1、本次比赛面向服装设计专业在校学生;年龄 18—30 周岁;性别、学历、国籍、民族不限。
Students in fashion design major from 18 -30 years old, without restriction to any gender / educational background/nation/religion.


2、参赛选手以个人为单位参赛。

参赛规则COMPETITION BRIEF

A. 设计主题 Themes

本次比赛的设计主题为新澳 2021/2022秋冬流行趋势主题。

The following design themes are selected from Xinao 2021/2022 Autumn Winter Collection. The contestants should do the design according to these four themes.

自然之灵 OVER WHITE

对自然颜色的重新探索和发现,纱线的生产只使用天然、未经提炼的材料。颜色选择自然暖白色调,冷暖色调的貂毛色系以反映原材料的自然之色以及材质天然之感觉。原生态材料,辅以古老传承的植物染色之法(花卉、矿物质和植物)。

Rediscover the natural colours of the yarns using only natural and unrefined materials. Natural range of warm white colours, mink warm tones and cold tones that reflect the natural colours of the raw materials from which the yarn comes with its natural components.

Pure yarns, ancient dyeing methods with natural dyes, flowers, mineral and plants.


能量循环 REGENERATION

该主题讲述了高端原材料、纱线,例如羊绒、真丝、超细羊毛、羊驼毛和骆驼毛等的回收再利用的概念。对生产过程中产生的废料、消费前、消费后材料(旧衣服)的回收再生。颜色围绕暖桔色调,新的冷光棕色展开。现代人们对环境、道德以及可持续的思考体现了对自然资源的极大尊重。

Recycle, reuse post-consumer materials, processing waste, used clothing, high-end recycled raw materials, noble yarns, cashmere, silk, fine wool, alpaca and camel. Warm orange colours, new tones of browns with cold touches. Eco aware, ethical and sustainable consumer is a modern thinking for the respect of the natural resources.


行走世界 LIVING IN THE WORLD

受新的旅行者启发,该主题提倡纱线混搭,兼具运动性能和时尚之感的高科技多功能服装。使用完全经过功能性处理的天然纤维纱线:防水、抗污、防风、吸湿排汗、保温。选择不是那么明亮,但是不易使人混淆、具有一定对比的饱和色。

New travelers, mixing yarns, technical multifunctional garments with a fashion look but with performance sport tech. This new trend uses natural yarns but revisited with purely technical treatments: anti water, stain, wind, perspiration, insulation. Soft colours that are not too bright but firm and with saturated contrasts for great impact.


浮光暗影 BLACK ENERGY

新的有光泽、不透明且反光的闪光纱线是这一主题的重点。这里我们希望这样的针织衫日夜可穿,颜色以全黑外套为主,辅以蜡笔色调的内搭形成对比,例如复古粉、松石蓝绿、水绿色与黑色形成反差;白色,一个男人女人衣柜中必不可缺的颜色,也是该主题的重点。

New luminescent yarns for a glossy and opaque effect. Day and night knitwear where total black bounce with pastel colours like antique pink, blue turquoise, water green are contrasts but also bases, opposed to black, focusing on whites, a must colour in the masculine and feminine wardrobe.


B. 纱线品类 Yarns Available

本次比赛提供以下十种纱线,请参赛者根据作品需求选择合适的纱线。纱线色号和色卡请参见官网活动页。

The table below indicates the yarn that can be selected by designers for their work. Yarn colours and other details can be found on website.




C.规则 Rules

1. 设计师可任选一个主题或融合多个主题进行创作设计。

Designers may use one or multiple theme(s) to create the design.


2. 作品须使用主办单位所提供的纱线品种。如设计需要使用其他纱线请参赛者自行提供,但每件作品的其他纱线使用率不超过20%(新澳纱线的使用率不低于 80%)。

Designers must use (no less than 80% of) yarn provided by the organizer. The usage of other materials (obtained by the designer) must not exceed 20% of the total weight /volume of the final product.


3. 服装允许采用横机针织与梭织及圆机针织布料拼接的工艺方法,但横机针织的比例不低于80%(梭织与圆机针织布料拼接的比例不可超过 20%)。

Designers are allowed to use knitting, weaving, and cut & sew in their works. Flat knitting must be not less than 80% (weaving and circular knitting structure may not exceed 20%).


4. 作品像素不小于2500X1500(横向),分辨率150dpi,并保存为pdf 格式。整个作品大小尽量控制在50M左右。

Please scan the completed form and save it as a PDF file during the submission. The resolution of the images must be above 2500 (w) x 1500(h) in landscape. It should be saved in 150dpi and around 50mb.


5. 参赛者提交的作品首页使用系列效果图,其后每一件衣服都要有单独成页的效果图以及设计效果图、尺寸图、工艺说明、颜色搭配、结构说明、使用纱线说明、作品介绍,每套成系作品不超过 3 款。

Designers must provide information about the Overall Presentation (Yarn Selection, Yarn Color, Knitting Structure, and Knitting Technique), Size Spec, Work Explanation, etc. Please use the submission form provided in the appendix. Each candidate may submit a total of 3 outfits, every single look must have its own page of demonstration.


6. 如作品中有特殊花型,请作详细的图片说明或提供一些衣服涉及到的花型的sample小样。

If any unique knitting structure is applied, please explain it in detail.


7. 参赛者需要提供一个一分钟时长的视频来阐述作品的灵感来源。

Participants need to provide a one-minute video to explain the inspiration of the work.

比赛评比Judgement & Scoring

比赛由两个阶段组成
The competition has 2 stages.


初赛 Preliminary stage


1.根据参赛选手提交的作品电子稿,评委为全部作品打分,得分前 8 名的作品进入决赛。
8 productions to be selected after scoring by the judge panel, will be involved in the final stage.


2.为体现公平公正原则,主办方将对全部作品进行编号,评审打分时不出现作者名字。
The personal information of the submission will be hidden from judge panel.


决赛 Final stage


1. 由导师团队选择心仪选手组队,并与品牌合作改款打造联名款。
Candidates will produce a series of garments according to their design with the mentors and brands who selected them in the preliminary stage.


2. 根据线上销售情况公布各个奖项。
The final result and prizes are decided according to the online sales achievement.


3. 获奖成衣作品归主办方所有。
The ownership of the finished garments belongs to the organizer.

注意事项ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. 参赛者以个人为单位,奖励及后期费用以一人计。
Contestants will enter the competition as an individual, reward and fee would be calculated as one person.


2. 所有决赛作品概不退还,请自留底稿。主办方拥有决赛作品的所有权,有权宣传、出版、展示全部决赛作品。设计师拥有设计稿的知识产权,但未经主办方同意,设计师不得擅自宣传、出版决赛作品。
Any submission of documents, design drawings will not be returned. Please keep a copy of the files for your own. The ownership of the finished garments belongs to the organizer while the copyright of the design work remains the designers. The organizer has the exclusive right to publish, print, and display all of the design works in the final round. The designer must not publish nor transfer the work in the final round to anyone else without the organizer's consent.


3. 参赛作品须参赛者本人独创、未经发表过的作品,不可一稿多投,如有公开发表过或抄袭的参赛作品,将取消本届大赛参赛和获奖资格,构成对第三方的侵权包括但不限于包括版权等,由参赛者承担对第三方的侵权责任,若造成主办单位损失的,参赛者应负责赔偿。

All design works must be original and unpublished by the designer him/her-self. If it is previously published or accused of plagiarism, the contestant will be disqualified at any stage of the competition and awards. The contestant will be responsible for any infringement including (but not limited to) copyrights. If the infringement is to the organizer, the contestant will be fined.


4. 参赛选手仅可提交一份作品。

Only one design collection can be submitted per applicant.


5. 往届入围决赛的选手不可再次参赛。

Finalists in the past years cannot apply the competition again.


6. 参赛选手所提交个人信息需真实有效,如提供虚假个人信息,将取消个人参赛和获奖资格。

The contestants declare to be credible and truthful. If they provide fake personal identity, the contestant will be disqualified from the competition and awards.


7. 进入决赛的选手由导师团自主选择组队,组队完成后不可变更或退赛。

All finalists are selected by the mentors independently. They cannot be changed or retired after the team has been formed.


8. 天猫平台贩售的服装版权归品牌方所有,参赛选手、导师、新澳均不可将服装用于商业售卖。

The copyright of the clothing sold on the T'mall platform belongs to the brands, while contestants, mentors, and Xinao cannot use the clothing for commercial sale.


9. 参赛者需严格遵守大赛纪律,配合赛事时间安排。

The contestants must follow the competition’s rule and discipline, and follow the schedule arranged by the organizer.


10. 本赛事相关事宜最终解释权归主办方所有。未尽事宜将另行通知。

The right of explanation belongs to the organizer.
